Professional History
Frankie possesses a suite of skills, such as strong negotiation abilities, effective time management, team building, and excellent communication skills for both large and small groups. He is focused, determined, mindful, and passionate about his work. He is a founding member of the Klamath Justice Coalition and Coastal Justice Coalition. Frankie is a board member of both the Ridges to Riffles Indigenous Conservation Group and Klamath Indigenous Land Trust as well as former member of the Klamath River Keeper Board of Directors. He has been a Community Organizer and Activist in Indian Country for over two decades.

In his professional journey, Frankie has taken on several significant roles within the Yurok Tribe and beyond. Since November 5, 2018, he has served as the Vice Chairman of the Yurok Tribe. In this capacity, he ensured the smooth operation of the Tribal Government in the absence of the Chairman. His responsibilities extended to tribal government budgeting, strategic planning, fundraising, overseeing departments and programs, and fostering community development.

President, YTCC
On December 1, 2020, he took on the mantle of President of the Yurok Tribe Construction Corp.(YTCC). Here, Frankie collaborated with the Yurok Tribal Council and Yurok Tribe Fisheries Program to build vital infrastructure for various fisheries restoration projects and civil developments for the tribe.
President, 8(a) Corporation
Continuing his leadership endeavors, Frankie became the President of the Prey-go-neesh Yurok Tribe 8(a) Corporation on January 5, 2021. Under Frankie's guidance, the corporation obtained certification to participate in the Federal Government's 8(a) contracting program, enhancing its internal capacity to manage and excel in the program. The corporation also undertakes many of the tribe's civil projects.
Councilmember, CTHC
On April 7, 2021, Frankie took on an important and historic role as a Councilmember of the California Truth and Healing Council. This council was formed in response to Governor Newsom's apology to California’s Native American Tribes for the state's involvement in historical injustices. Frankie works to bring forward the true history of tribal peoples and to develop recommendations to begin to heal our relationships.
THPO, Yurok Tribe
Prior to these roles, Frankie was the Tribal Historic Preservation Officer for the Yurok Tribe from January 15, 2015, to November 5, 2018. He was responsible for protecting the tribe’s cultural and environmental resources and leading consultations under Section 106.
